New Moon Turkey a la Werewolf.

Agenda for today: Thanksgiving feast for Tony and I. (with all the fixings mashed potatoes, turkey, chocolate fudge pie) NEW MOON date with Karen!!! Yes! Possible shopping date with Everett, Tony and Karen.

Full day of fun, fun, fun. Obviously I can't sleep b/c it's six o'clock in da morning! My brain is speaking in Spanish and doing math problems. Oh I also have to make time to go to the dog park with Meko Forgey today. I love my life right now and I'm so excited to hang with Karen!

Mornings.

I haven't been able to sleep for the past two days. Falling asleep is really easy for me but staying asleep is another story. I am definitely a morning person and can't help it. For this girl no sleep after nine a.m. Mimosa was quietly sleeping in the living room this morning, her disposition was completely opposite this morning than it was last night. We rarely get to go outside with her so I thought it important to hang out with her on the porch. Its cold this morning but sunny and I like that. The rain has been a complete and utter disappointment these days. Tony and I went to the pumpkin patch last week and carved the pumpkins on Monday. Halloween is around the corner but so is Christmas. So many gifts to buy but so little money. Oh well.

sunday.

It's hard not to blog about how wonderful my boyfriend is, he's just so kind and patient. I make it hard for him to love me, but he makes it so easy for me to love him.

Life Style Changes

Recently I become somewhat restless, and irritated with myself. This is my own fault of course.
So with that realization I've decided to make a list of goals to live my life by. These goals are not difficult or challenging, but nevertheless have been increasingly difficult for me to keep up with.
Goals:
1. Visit my friends more. (i.e. Walt, Karen, Everett, Jennifer, Nadia, Maria...)
2. Eat more at home. (NO MORE EATING OUT DURING THE WEEK, AT LEAST!)
3. Exercise more. (I walk quite a bit, I've started running now... it's totally lame!)
4. Read more. (I got nothing)
5. Start playing music again. (lessons or something??)
6. Save MORE money.
7. Call family more. (Dad, Mom, Venessa, Trey, Roman, Jeremy)

We'll see if these become habits?? Who knows?

Towelhead

For sometime now, I've somehow forgotten how to read novels. And after complaining about this for a while, I decided to buy a new book. (which lets face it, I have plenty of books to read at home) Anyhow I spent a whole twelve dollars at Barnes and Noble on a book named Towelhead by Alicia Erian. I was not expecting to delve right into this book immediately, but Sundays are always to boring to do anything more than sleep, eat, fuck or read. (pardon my french) Since I hadn't any interest in doing any of the above, (I wasn't feeling well) I relaxed on my bed and began reading. I wasn't surprised that this book was too good to put down. I knew that it would be based on the first line of the book, which starts off with "My mother's boyfriend got a crush on me, so she sent me to live with Daddy." I wouldn't want to give too much away but, the book is about an overdeveloped thirteen-year old girl sent to live with her Arab father in Texas during Saddam Hussein's invasion into Kuwait. Read it, or see the movie which apparently came out in September of 2008.
