Hand Stands.

It's nice when you're around, and we can both sit silently outside under a shade on a hot day. Right now watching you flail in the blue of a salty water pool... your hand stands are enough to make me smile throughout the daylight and well into the night.

Winston.

This is Winston. I met Winston on Monday morning on another date to yet again the fabulous Urban Farmhouse. His perseverance was amazing and truly inspirational.

As you can see, Winston tried and failed many a times to exit the windows of the coffee shop. Sadly, I never got to see if he actually succeeded in his escape but I had a hell of a time meeting him. It just goes to show that no matter how hard you try... always try harder. (cheesy to say now but so true)

Evening strolls.

Went for a stroll this evening. Saw this tarred on the concrete bridge between Idlewood and Grayland Ave., somebody must have been really upset with Best Buy.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Although my weekend started out a bit clumsy, it really turned out to be beautiful. Hol-la at y'all later with deets of the yard sale this past Saturday, but until then good night lovelies y Gracias.

well apparently.

Just a quick rant regarding work and the occupation of being an interpreter. Well apparently, I seem to speak not only English, Spanish and Portuguese, but I also have been given the over night ability to speak Vietnamese and Burmese.

When did it become my job to be the interpreter for the "Interpreter?"  I realized that perhaps because I interpret for the aformentioned languages that it may be easier for me to interpret other languages aside from those, but seriously wtf?

Now, that I'm done with venting. I wanted to write a small entry about thoughts and questions I have often thought, experienced or wondered about.

Have you ever become incredibly irratated and angry at a driver seemingly unaware that they can't fucking drive, and then realize that they are incredibly old? Well apparently, now I feel like an asshole.

I've recently become aware that when you lose a vast amount of weight, suddenly your boobs are smaller. Well apparently, I can go back to wearing training bras. (not so mad about that actually)

Running to a Pandora station exclusively dedicated to M.I.A gives you such an adrenaline rush. Well apparently, I love this woman.

How many of you all lie? I'm a horrible liar, apparently it must have been smacked out of me while attending Catholic school as a child.

Speaking of church, do you think I'll ever like going to it again?

Playing video games is tons of fun. What was the last video game you played?

I wonder if I will be reincarnated when I die? Hopefully, I'll be a kitty. If not I want to be someone just like who I am now.

I can't wait till I get a new camera. I want to take pictures of my grandfather and grandmother.

On a beautiful note, it's beautiful outside it feels like a Texas night. My sister and I used to play outside all day in the hot sun dodging rattle snakes and illegal aliens hiding in the bush. (hahaha. No but seriously...) In the quiet of the evening after being bathed and dressed, we accompanied our grandfather on the porch; he would smoke a cigarette and sip on his tall boy, and talk to us about a woman who lived not too far away who once was a lover of  Pancho Villa.

Gracias a la vida, para los pensamientos aleatorios.

The cool.

(cracker jacks and cotton candy)

It appears that the sun only shines for the cool. With the threat of impending weather my brother Roman, his girlfriend Caitlin, the Fella and I, decided to attend a Richmond Flying Squirrels baseball game on Sunday. Proudly, I wore my Squirrels t-shirt purchased last summer, though it a bit larger than I remember nonetheless the words on the t-shirt funnily read: "JUST A SQUIRREL TRYING TO GET A NUT!"

Farmer's Market.

Made my way this fine Saturday morning to the farmer's market located in Forrest Hill. Honestly if I had to choose between all of the farmer's markets in RVA, THIS one would take the cake! It was such a lovely morning and the vendors were truly one of a kind.

Got to meet some of the vendors from Anna B's gluten-free bakery. Among the many samples they had my favorite morsel of bread was the multi-grain. Unfortunately, because of their popularity they ran out of the loaves very early in the morning, so I didn't get to purchase any. Boo.

Enjoy the lovely day and weekend. Gracias.

El Cinco.

In true American custom, for Cinco de Mayo, I decided to hang out with a bunch of white girls and drink margaritas. I'm gonna miss these three. Love them. Happy Cinco. Gracias.

Urban Farmhouse.

Having a date at Urban Farmhouse, I can't wait to eat their gluten-free bacon and egg breakfast sandwich. Oh, it's the little things in life that make this world so wonderful! I lost my phone again this morning and my wallet almost fell into a drainage sewer but no matter! Así es la vida y Gracias a la vida.

(I probably should take pictures while on a motorcycle going up a huge bridge)

Vacation.

This picture pretty much sums up the experience of the Virginia Beach Bike Classic this weekend. Though most of the time was spent outside at the pool Thursday and Friday, Saturday was spent once again riding La Poderosa and making an appearance at the festival. I'll admit that I expected the people of the biker community to be a bit more outrageous but most of our time was spent calmly wandering from vendor to vendor trying on various leather attire.

Do I look somewhat confused in the picture the Fella took? Seriously, take a look at the beer vendors behind me, not to mention the people sitting on the grass awaiting the headlining singer on his Storm Tour, the one, the only Travis Tritt.

God this picture is hilarious.

Vacations are so wonderful! I miss it already. It's really hard waking up knowing that you have to return to work. I wish I had taken some pictures of us outside baking in the sun, or in my case burning in the sun. I'm currently reading the most exciting book right now "A Game of Thrones," by George R. R. Martin. God I love it! I just want to go back to Virginia Beach sit in the sun, read and nap. Sigh.
